This vantage watch is a variation on the A-20 skin diver from the late 60’s. The distinctive dials on these watches are easily recognizable but with this variant, rather than having a smaller dial and large dive bezel, they chose to use a larger dial and slim bezel giving this watch insane readability. This is only the second variation of this watch I have ever seen.
     The stainless case was make by TK as were the diver cases of the same style. Bevels are sharp and the case appears to have never been polished. The case measures [ ] which sits slim to the wrist, but the large dial & indices with slim bezel make it wear like a much larger watch.
     The stunning gloss back dial has thickly applied Tritium (which still glows for a few second after the lights go off) and sports sword minute and hour hands with lolipop second hand (slight lume loss on the minute hand but can be filled and stabilized by a skilled relumer or just left alone).
     The two-tone lume was incredibly common for skin diver watches from this era as the dials and hands were sourced from different vendors- hence the colors and formula for the Tritium varied. Some immediately think they are relumed- I can assure you, they are not.

DIAL: The glossy black dial is in good shape.  The glossy dial features arrow hands and alternating Arabic and baton hour markers. The hands have aged to a different hue and some shades darker than the Arabic and baton hour markers.

CASE: The 35mm stainless steel case was made by CK. The case is in good shape showing light wear throughout commensurate with age. The case features a screw down case back. 

MOVEMENT: Manually wound 17 jewel movement. The service history on the movement is unknown. The watch sets, winds and runs and is keeping reasonably good time.
