The Slingshot SST V7 is a super stable kite with more than enough low-end power, combined with the power that the kite generates through the wind window, you can almost always take a size smaller. For the Slingshot SST V7 2023, Slingshot has started working with new materials. A new type of Dacron has been used that is not only light, but also considerably stiffer, allowing the kite to keep its profile even better in stronger winds. The Slingshot SST V7 is a 3 strut kite, which uses micro struts. The name says it all, but these struts have a very small diameter and are the thinnest and lightest struts on the market. These small struts give the kite more than enough profile, while significantly reducing weight and drag to achieve next-level drift and responsiveness. The fabric of the Slingshot SST V7 2023 kite is made of 4x4 Teijin ripstop fabric. This cloth is the strongest, stiffest and most durable kitesurf cloth on the market. The advantage of this is that your SST V7 not only lasts longer, but is also more stable in the air in gusty winds and is extra bomb-proof.
The Slingshot SST V7 has bridles without pulleys, which makes the kite feel a lot more direct. Slingshot uses extremely thin static lines, which means the rider feels much less drag. The Slingshot SST V7 has special wingtips called 'Rapid Responsive Wingtips'. These wingtips have an extra curve that, together with Slingshots' bridle technology, provides extra fast handling, more speed, better upwind properties and an easy relaunch. The kite has different attachment points, so that the power and handling of the kite can be fine-tuned and riders can fully adapt the kite to their riding style, so that you can get the most out of your session!
