Collins & Co Big Game Spearguns are the result of more than 30 years of dedicated focus towards developing a speargun of the highest quality. Our series has been designed, tested and used by Edgar Collins. Edgar has been spearing since childhood and grounded his skills across New Guinea, Northern Queensland and Indonesia.

Collins & Co spearguns are all constructed from quarter-sawn straight-lined Burmese teak. All the components are high-grade marine metals added to produce the quality we aspire too. Each series has been designed, fitted and balanced to provide their owners with an awesome speargun for life.

The Tuna Series

This speargun is the ultimate in open water big game spearfishing. The stock is 182cm in length with an enclosed track and has a total weight of 7.3kg. The weight of the speargun coupled with the 5 x 16mm bands provides a shooting range of 38ft and hits with a wallop! The package comes with a 3/8 72 inch shaft rigged with stainless steel 9 strand wire.

Out of the water, the Collins & Co timber spearguns are noticeably heavy. In the water, this weight is perfectly balanced to reduce recoil, improve the transfer of power into the flight of the spear and significantly improves accuracy. The spearguns feel weightless in the water yet the diver has a sense of confidence they have the right equipment.
