Intro & New Features
Push the limits of your shot with CCM's incomparable Vizion stick. Designed to be one of a kind, the Vizion stick is loaded with groundbreaking technology that has never been seen before. Built with ALUPLI Composite, a new hybrid aluminum and carbon construction that acts a slash shield, it reduces cracks and damage to your stick during the toughest plays. Aim for greatness with the most cutting-edge stick CCM has ever made.
Stick Profile
The new Vizion stick features an ultralow kickpoint, designed to increase your performance. This means that the stick flexes lower to the blade. This design enhances the stick's ability to store and release energy quickly during a shot. When a player loads the stick by flexing it, the energy stored in the lower shaft is rapidly released at the low kick point upon shooting. This results in a swift and explosive shot release, ideal for close-range shots, quick snapshots, and fast-paced gameplay.
Shaft Construction
This stick features a new ergo "EC" geometry in the shaft shape. This new feature can be seen in the top of the shaft and provides players with more grip on their sticks, while also allowing for a better release on their shots. Reinforced with the alupli composite construction, this provides the stick with a lighter and more balanced feel, while remaining very durable.
Blade Construction
CCM used a UL1 reg blade construction for the Vizion hockey stick. This stick features a notable development in blade technology meant to improve player performance. The reduced weight of this blade compared to earlier generations improves the stick's overall balance and allows for a faster release. Players can make greater plays with more precision thanks to improved puck control and shot accuracy made possible by the weight decrease.
Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length
The CCM Vizion Intermediate Hockey Stick comes in stick flexes 65 and 55 in both left and right hand sticks, as well as P28 and P29. A new feature CCM has introduced is the option for 1/4 on these blade patterns, which is designed to add puck control for players.
P29 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. This curve may suffer a bit on the backhand.
P28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be a bit difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.
