Intro & New Features
Fire off the perfect shot with the RIBCOR Trigger 9 Pro Hockey Stick, featuring an optimized low kickpoint for easier shot loading. The Nanolite Shield carbon layering technology makes the stick incredibly light and strong, while the Helicoid blade with Dual-Feel enhances performance, feel, and durability. Strengthened with Sigma STP to minimize weight while maximizing resilience, this stick is a powerhouse of precision and quality.
Stick Profile
Designed to increase your performance, the stick has CCM's optimized low kick point. This means the stick flexes lower, closer to the blade. This design enhances the stick's ability to store and release energy quickly during a shot. When a player loads the stick by flexing it, the energy stored in the lower shaft is rapidly released at the low kick point upon shooting. This results in a swift and explosive shot release, ideal for close-range shots, quick snapshots, and fast-paced gameplay.
Shaft Construction
This stick features an ergonomic "E" geometry in the shaft shape. It is designed to offer a flawless energy transfer, optimizing the speed of release for your shots. Reinforced by the Sigma STP spread tow shaft, this provides the stick with a more lighter feel and more balance, while still being extremely durable.
One particularly noteworthy development is the Nanolite Shield carbon layering technology, which modifies the shaft design by adding thicker layers of carbon fiber to protect an ultralight core. This produces a shaft that is incredibly light and strong at the same time.
Blade Construction
CCM uses dual-feel blade with helicoid material in the blade for the Trigger 9 Pro stick. Being at the highest price point, this stick comes with unique technology and precise shooting capabilities, but it also has a foam insert in the heel of the blade to minimize vibrations while stickhandling and passing, changing the way players interact with the puck.
The Trigger 9 Pro also incorporates the use of the Skeleton taper technology. This material is found within the taper area which provides better reliability in key moments of the game.
Grip
Equipped with a trigger soft feel, this provides players with grip and control of their sticks. The updated Trigger curved raised grip is made to enhance the stick feel in the hands, providing the ultimate experience for players.
Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length
The CCM RIBCOR Trigger 9 Pro Junior Hockey Stick is available in P29, P28, P88, and P90TM.
P29 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. This curve may suffer a little bit on the backhand.
P88 is a relatively traditional curve. A popular choice in the past, it excels greatly in stickhandling, quick wrist shots, and controlling snap shots.
P28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specialize in quick and accurate shots, but it can be a bit difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.
P90TM is a hybrid of the P29 and P28, with the lie of the P29 and the toe of a P28. Additionally, the curve is a bit taller for more control and power on faceoffs and board battles. The "M" stands for "max blade", which means the blade also has a bit more height for a stronger presence when engaging in board battles.
