This is a Buzz Rickson's reproduction of the original vintage military watch that was used by the US Navy during the World War II. The U.S.N. BU Ships Canteen Diver Watch was issued during World War II to Underwater Demolition Teams (UDT). "BuShips" stands for the United States Navy's Bureau of Ships. 

The watch features the “Canteen” screw down water resistant crown. This was applied as a cover for the crown and it was designed to protect it from taking hits and to prevent water from getting into the watch.

The case is made of stainless steel with marking of U.S.N BU Ships at the back case.

The watch comes with one interchangeable bond strap with a stainless steel buckle and a nylon nato strap if one prefers to change the style of the strap.
