The new generation of the famous Bulldog Gear Hybrid Bumper Plates are the perfect solution for those looking for a high-quality, performance plate at a competitive price.
Each plate is 450mm in diameter, meeting the IWF standard. They each utilise a stainless-steel insert, unique to our hybrid bumpers, and fit standard 50mm diameter bar sleeves.
Materials matter, especially when it comes to bumper plates...
The hybrid plates are made from a dense virgin rubber, which reduces the thickness of the bumper plate. Therefore, more weight can be loaded onto a bar – useful for squats and deadlifts.
Markings on the plates are in KG, with the plates ranging from 5kg to 25kg. Knurling added to the outside and inside chamfer enhances grip when picking up and performing plate carries.
We've also moulded 2 symmetrical handles to aid grip when preforming ground to overhead movements and to make it easier to pick up your plates when they're on the floor, bumper stacker or when loading a barbell.
