The Atomic BC2 BCD is a back inflation BCD that is manufactured to be ahead of its time, it is evolved from the acclaimed Atomic BC1 design that set new performance standards. The incredibly touch BC series now gives divers a back inflation choice to suit every diving style. The design of the BC2 incorporates the same unique polyurethane coating waterproof fabric and corrosion-resistant metals as the BC1. The matte fabric is hydrophobic and sheds water so the BC2 is practically dry just seconds after surfacing. It is also self-cleaning, stain and UV resistant and it is also resistant to rot, mildew, chemicals and mould.

The BC2 is the most comfortable back inflation available – you feel bolted in, becoming one with the BC, which exudes a feeling of confidence and comfort during the dive. Unlike other back inflation BCs the BC2 is neutrally buoyant in seawater, low profile hydrodynamic trim pockets allow divers to add weight for every diving configuration. The BC2 features a special silicone floatation cell retraction band that expands then returns cleanly into a hidden section under the weight system, This silicone material dries quickly and won’t deteriorate like elastic style webbing.

Exclusive patented atomic features include the easy lock weight release system, the ratcheting Camlock tank band quickly tightens to securely mount the BC2 to a wide range of tank sizes. Divers also have high-performance atomic inflation and safe second options to enhance the dive experience even more
